Fleming Park Score-O

This is a low-key Score-O course in Fleming Park. The start will be at 3:00pm with a time limit of 45 minutes. Course closes at 4:00pm. This course has been designed for the last Halifax Sport & Social Club Intro to Orienteering session which takes place on Sunday lunchtime, hence the later than usual start times.
A compass, safety whistle and watch are all required for this event. Maps will be provided at the start. SI timing sticks are available to rent.
PARKING: The start/finish is in the main parking lot near the Dingle Tower. There should be washrooms available.
FEES: The following are the fees for this event (pre-registered), add $5 for day-of registrations:
Senior: (age 21 and above) $10 per person
Junior: (age 20 and under) $2 per person
Organized Group (e.g. scouts, guides, cadets, etc.: $5 per person)
SI (timing device) rental: $3 per unit
Maximum fee per family unit: $25
A payment container will be available. Please bring correct change.

On the day of the event, please complete the COVID HEALTH DECLARATION. Please do not come to the event if you have any COVID symptoms, have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, or are required to self-isolate.
Participants are expected to be familiar with Orienteering Canada's GUIDELINES FOR CLUB ORIENTEERING ACTIVITIES.
Please remember to bring proof of vaccination for all participants 12 and older per NS Public Health Guidelines for organized sporting events.
